Thanksgiving

I'm the first person to latch on to any traditional celebration, regardless of it's relevance to my life/beliefs/culture. Part of it is about experiencing other cultures and traditions and the other is just a good excuse to celebrate something ... anything ...

So, while I won't be cooking a turkey this Thanksgiving I may just make some time to whip up a sweet potato or pumpkin pie ... and I'll take the opportunity to be thankful for the many blessings of my life ...

I have a morning trawl through a number of blogs and came across this great post on Jason Mraz's (about an article by Kim Painter) the other day.

So, showing gratitude doesn't just give you the warm fuzzies ... it could be good for your health too!

I've got so many things to be thankful for in my life that spending a little time each day making an effort to appreciate them shouldn't be a struggle.

Thank you for reading ;)
